Cask Trade & Grief Encounter - Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot

Chloe Morant

Grief Encounter Event On Thursday the 30th of September, Cask Trade teamed up with Grief Encounter for their clay pigeon shooting event, donating a prize to their silent auction. Grief Encounter are a wonderful charity who support bereaved children and young people in the UK, with the aim of giving every child and young person access to the best possible support following the death of someone close. We were proud to donate a Whisky Tasting Experience and look forward to hosting the lucky winner in our Regent St Tasting Room for a Guided Tasting, complete with an exciting selection of whiskies. The event was hosted at a beautiful shooting ground called Holland & Holland in Northwood. Grief Encounter Event The experience went for a fantastic £1,250 in the auction, which could fund the equivalent of one of the following:
  • 25 hours of 1:1 professional bereavement counselling for grieving children
  • 12 Grief Relief Kits, including Mr Good Grief hand puppet for bereaved families across the UK
  • 8 sessions of Group Therapy for families after a death
  • 2 Family Away Days
